The View Pavilion restaurant is located on the main street with many temples next to each other, not far from the night market ( just 10 minute walk ). It's also the best place to see the daily monks procession and local residents giving alms to more than two hundred monks in the early morning.

The restaurant building was built between 1929-1930, in French architectural style by French architect and Vietnamese worker. It's the only French mansion in this style that you can see Luang Prabang.

The typical design of the building is its surrounding balcony on each side of the building. The purpose is to overview the scenic views of mountains surrounding in the peninsula area and temples nearby.

You as our honoured guests would be sitting on the balcony to overlook the daily life activities of the monks in Wat Sob, the opposite temple which is also monk school. In the late afternoon you can have some drinks and see the sunset behind Wat Sene which is one of the most beautiful temple in Luang Prabang.

Our Lao chefs will give you the best and delicious dishes including Lao, Thai, some international and vegetarian foods.
